Finding the gold..

Today i really challenged myself to ‘find the gold’  no…I havent taken up mining.. its a phrase we use to try and look for  the best in a situation. Look for the things that might be good in a situation however little and small they seem. So with that in mind and inspired by this post from the start up wife. I aimed to document my little bits of gold.

Sometimes its important to, to help bring perspective and focus and draw you away from the negativity. When things are not quite going the way you thought, which is a bit of where we are right now its so easy to think of those hard, stoney, gravel aspects of our lives and only focus on them. The gold just washes on by.

At the very least it offers distraction and at best it gives you a brief snapshot of the brilliant shining gold there is in those tiny things…everyday.

Its been raining a lot here…WHAT? i haven’t ever mentioned the weather before…im so fed up of it but today, despite this awful, horrendous summer we are having i tried to search out the gold.

    What a lovely post! I love the photos they are so clear and striking – and absolutely such pieces of gold to treasure forever! (also how damn cute are your children and little doggie??!)

      thanks 🙂 it was a horribly rainy day…and i hate rain!! i used a few fonts on the images…in the end, on the last four(i think) it is actually my handwriting!
