Did i mention….

that we are planning on moving house?

We are hoping to move to a bigger house with a bit more of a garden. As we currently have no garden. This will probably sound really odd to my north american friends but we have a little patch of concrete outside our back door which we call a ‘yard’

Our house is a victorian terraced house which was built in something like 1905, i think. Back in them days they didnt seem overly concerned about outside space.

Anyway so we are looking for something with a bit of grass and some more storage because boy oh boy do we need it 🙂

So we have been looking at houses and I was struck yesterday when viewing yet another house that was for sale because of the breakdown of a marriage. Just how sad it is to see homes like this. The people showing the house seem okay but their homes look broken. No feeling, no stuff just kicking around, you know the stuff of living. Its sad. The houses, they just seem a bit, i dunno….lost

I mean i’m not passing judgement on people in this situation. You can just really feel it when the heart has gone from a home i guess.

So far we havent come across a house that ticks all the boxes. We found one that was so awesome. Big Edwardian town house with big garden and a kitchen that was HUGE. I could see the Christmases in there….know what i mean 😉 but one big downer..it is on a very very main road…just too busy *sigh* so we had to say no……

anyways…..we have been having a heck of a lot of rain recently..can you tell?
