i have never really liked february, mainly because of the weather, dont get me wrong i actually love winter, i am a ‘cold’ person, i love cold frosty days and warm fires, going out all bundled up and feeling the icy wind on your cheeks, hot chocolate and snuggling in while the weather gets cold outside..love it. But here in this country..its just dreary, wet and bleak and that has always been how i have thought of february..
well, this year…its gone one better. it has been a tough month. We are in our third week of chicken pox. Poppy is covered from head to foot, and she hasnt been too well with it. Things have been heavy this month thats for sure.
Im starting to think i will never see anyone again! Friends..i shall return to circulation soon.:)
I am starting to get really affronted at the stares that the girls get because their spots are quite bad. One small child walked past Maisie in a shop the other day and said at the top of her voice ‘Mummy that girl has got chicken pox’ …..yeah, loving all the looks that got…
Anyways so we have been hiding out, cleaning the yard, playing shops, cooking, been to the zoo, jumping around in the kitchen to a bunch of tunes on the ipod and going to the park to feed the ducks…can ducks get chicken pox?
another sad departure this month was our Macbook pro. It has gone to applemac heaven. The bods at Mac are replacing it with one of the new ones, so Ben is very chuffed. Me, im kind of irritated at the bother and hassle it has caused..but hey, you gotta roll with the punches and there is something about Mac that is so good…that crossing back to microsoft just aint gonna happen in this house. 😉
so on that note, i was going to try and get some scrapping done and post some pages, ‘cos im missing it but all our recent pics are now on the back up drive awaiting our new mac and apparently i can access them so my lovely husband tells me but…well…that all takes extra time…..
so instead here are some pictures of my brave little kids…..
not the most flattering pic of miss maisie but she had just woken up!!
they’re soo…….cute!! chicken pox and all!! Did you already draw a name for the RAK?? have fun with those little ones, and hope you get a chance to scrap soon…
gosh, i hope your chickenpox situation gets better!! poor kids 🙁 love the pics of Poppy walking, SO CUTE 🙂
Awww! Super sweet photos =)
