that we are getting closer to christmas…
isaac has got his ‘lines’ for the school nativity. Sent home yesterday with a little note saying please help your child to learn these…he is a narrator which means that him and a couple of others have a few lines to say here and there.
Best thing about it?
he gets to wear his own clothes……no dressing up, always good when you are Mr Isaac aged 5 and a bit.

we met at school, long long time ago…remember madame Riley??? yikes!!!
we have been through weddings, funerals, babies, nights out, nights in, renegade sheep, ponies, dogs, cats….and then some…
for a long time now we have lived a long way apart and life has kept us busy and sometimes we havent spoken as much as we should but somehow we have always found our way back together….
and a couple of weeks ago my buddy and her family set off to Australia.

he is starting to be interested in drawing and writing..i was starting to wonder….
this is a card for a friend’s birthday, he insisted on doing the name and the little picture is apparently him….and the number 5, because he is 5…
of course!!!
1. leaf blowers? – really what is that about? you get a powerful garden tool that just blows leaves somewhere else…so they become someone else’s problem? I saw a guy the other day blowing leaves onto the pavement from his drive and just leaving them there….wha? is it like the most selfish garden tool there is??
2. halloween….i saw someone with their baby dressed as the devil…….why why why??
3. these..i know i have mentioned these before, but i am seeing them everywhere at the moment and i like….i like lots….although understandably not brand new…i mean, even i know that dreams have to have limits right?
4. We have changed our living rooms round, the front to the back and vice versa. Now I am in the process of painting the front room so we can finally move on from the orange….
5. Poppy has started using that feared phrase ‘i do it’…oh boy…its gonna take half hour of watching her try to get herself into her car seat before she flings herself on the floor in frustration…..sigh….
6. Got to love going to work when you a) find out that they are giving you some time off b) get a bottle of Moet champagne from the parents of a baby and c) find out that the trust are giving every employee £50 high street vouchers for being so darn good….heh 🙂
umm..you know i had so much more…but alas, my brain is switching to night mode….hmmmmmmmm….
