does it sound like a train or a horse??

because apparently boy babies sound like trains?? and girls sound like horses???

Maisie said 'train'

Poppy said 'horse'

i have never heard this theory in four pregnancies and today the midwife told me in no uncertain terms that boy babies sound like trains on the sonicaid and girsl sound like horses..this is related, apparently to the fact that boy 's heartrates are generally slower than girls…..

yeah…….

Its a sick day here, we are all ill and sitting on the sofa cuddling up. Maisie is picking up thanks to baby nurofen but, of course, im not allowed to take any flu remedies so im just going for 'positive' thinking to get me through feeling like there is a train running through my head…
a train???

hmmmmm….
ps. just in case i didnt say, we didnt find out the sex of our new baby so im not sending out any hints okay!!!

Interesting! I have to say though that when I heard Jordan’s heart beat for the first time I said to the midwife that it sounded like a galloping horse! Maybe 3 train mad boys later I might think it sounded like a train now…… that said, each time I heard Annie Joy’s heart beat I just thought how amazing it was to hear that little heart beating away 😀
Hope you all get well soon. Fresh squeezed lemon juice, honey & hot water is great by the way.
