anyone who follows any UK based blog…

probably knows already that we have had snow….yes, it is a major event here in the UK. Trains stop running, buses grind to a halt, schools shut and people have a rare day of building snowmen and sledging!!

Even us, here in the normally soggy and salty part of this great country got more snow than i have ever seen in over ten years. Not that there is much of it left after 24 hours but watching it fall the last night was quite magical. Big fat fluffy flakes that made everything look so pretty….

There is a funny relationship between my husband and snow, only about an hour or so into the snow falling had him saying things like 'lets go to the park and get trays to slide on!" and 'fancy going to scotland this weekend so I can take Isaac skiing!" It clearly does things to him and whilst he loves the snow on any occasion. I love snow in holiday situations and less so in everyday life situations, probably because this country is so badly equipped for snow that when we do get some it is such a major issue and hurdle to over come.

Anyways for this snowy couple of days, because Ben is on paternity leave still. It has felt a bit holiday-esque and I had a lovely half hour feeding Matilda in bed watching the snow fall outside the window. It was sweet.

Some quick piccies to upload and then i must get some shut eye…probably briefly if little miss party nights has anything to do with it….
