But he is 7. I can't even begin to tell you how much we love this kid. He is our pioneer and we think he is the best. 

• At seven you are
• Confident around adults. You amaze me with your front when it come to talking to grown ups. Just march right up and ask them a question dude.. 
• Still love your trains. Can't see that one coming to an end any time soon 
• So focused..on whatever is getting you fired up at that moment, dog with a bone, cant put it down until you have touched, looked, read, watched or pushed it! 
• Coming to terms with your girls..those lovely sisters of yours. You told me the other day that you think they are all pretty cool.  
• Love to sing. Pretty much anything that gets into your head. 
• Loves knock knock jokes..or any sort of joke really..we get to practice laughing at the same joke over and over…..
• Loves cars. you like the petrol head type cars, like your daddy. 
• Favourite thing to do is ride your bike. You have surely got this one from your dad. A fact i said to you recently and it practically lit up your face. You love your bike, you ride it well with confidence  and care. Two wheels are better than walking whenever.  
• Reading comes easily and naturally to you. You storm through your reading books. You read the titles on cbeebies out to your sisters. They both ask you all the time to read to them. Very cool. 
• You are deep. We work hard to understand you and try to help you see things in a way other than your own. So single minded, so intent on what you want to do. Your mind is speeding along all the time.
• You have never ever lost your wonderlust. ever ever ever..you sometimes, even now, remind me of your toddler days when you just couldn't not explore a new place regardless if that meant being away from all you knew…. Its not as heart stopping as when you were little but can still be frightening when you suddenly disappear.  
• Dont worry about those teeth dude. They will fall out in their own good time. 
• Only instrument you are interested in is the drums. i think its more about the amount of noise you can make personally… 
•  You have to work very very hard at coping with not winning. Its a constant challenge for you to accept not coming first. Remember your greatest moment is not when you fail but when you get up and try again after every time you might fail.

 You are a regular little boy who finds farts funny and smiles when Matilda blows raspberries or when something falls on the floor.  In our family you are right up there at the top of the run of kids and I realise that sometimes that can be a hard place to be. But you are up for the job buddy. We have every confidence in you and believe in you. You are a fun kid to have around. A little bit sensible but delightfully silly at times too. Happy Birthday to our Isaac. You are a gift.
