im going to go with a list…

because they are easiest and at the moment in my sleep starved state its the best i can do..because seriously only about 4 posts in the entire of november..not good..not good…so…some things…

1. We all made it to Maisie's ballet show on monday evening..just about intact but somewhat frayed around the edges. It was lovely, interesting interpretation of Cinderella. Maisie did great, up there on the stage. did breathe a sigh of relief once it was over though…phew…

2. Matilda does not have clicky hips. She had a x ray of her hips last week and after bringing the place down when the x ray lady tried to position her..'dont touch me lady!' We discovered that her hips are in fact in the right place. hooray…

3. Some doctors foolishly think they can treat nurses like rubbish. We all know that is always always a bad idea…..it will kick you in the rear end before too long is all im saying…

4. I have thrown my hands up in defeat. I cant stand doing the grocery shop and have now switched to doing it online. Trusting the picking of my weekly fruit and veg to some spotty, underpaid and snotty teenager…um…

wait a minute…..
5. Finally convinced my three year old that she needs more than canvas beach shoes when it is lashing it down with rain most days.  You have no idea what a victory this is…this girl does not like shoe shopping….

6. Love the fact that Maisie and Poppy were doing an imaginary Strictly Come dancing with the penguins from the all aboard game the other morning.

7. On the subject of penguins, i felt very pleased with myself that i discovered that penguin has a 'ng' in the middle thus meaning i could put it down in Maisie phonics homework book next to the 'ng ng ng' sound. I also had a penguin sticker to hand too. It the small things….

8. Found myself wondering the other day whilst listening to radio 2's auction for 'things money cant buy' in aid of children in need..'who are the people who have £15,000 to spend on 'dinner' with Westlife?'

9 Thinking we have had enough rain. I went shopping the other day to a retail park and their was a pair of ducks sat in a puddle (well..lake) that had accumulated in the car park.

10. I made biscuits the other day with Poppy. An american recipe which included adding Angel delight! Who remembers having that when you were a kid? My favourite? Tie between Vanilla or Butterscotch.

Lastly i posted this on facebook this morning. This is as i left the hospital this morning after quite a long night (see point 3!) and the sky was this beautiful pink colour….had to stop and take a picture with my phone.

angels to the left…

and right and up and down. Some friends of mine have a company and they had a party because the company was 10 years old. They asked me to take some photos and here is a little snap shot. They had it in the palm house at sefton park here in liverpool which is this exceptionally elegant victorian greenhouse. It is just stunning. Angel20

Benbike
and no i don't feel put out. Finally..he got a bike that he can enjoy riding to work. He knows he is a bike snob, we all know it. But its okay…

2. Ex-squeeze me…but it is actually only six weeks till christmas. Yup..just saying tis all. 😉

3. whilst on the subject of christmas i got my christmas hours this week and i think i got the short straw. Christmas day 5pm-10pm and New years eve night. Woohoo…going to be rock and rollin' the party season working those shifts. Hey ho..

4. So you think Cadbury should sell to Kraft? we took the kids to cadbury world in Bournville and i have to say i hated it, stress, high prices, too much chocolate (yes that is possible!) and Poppy threw up all over my dry clean only wool coat. Etched on my memory and in the fibres of my coat 😉

5. Last week i was in work every day except Friday. study days and normal shifts. Felt a little bit like this..

6. Have rediscovered this guy. Go have a listen. A few years ago we both thought he was awesome and then Isaac developed a passion for listening to his CD and after a million times we were always like 'Not jamie again'   But i really like this new song of his and to be fair he was always good. God love him. and er..not sure who the scarecrow looking guy is at the end of the youtube vid but oh.my. 'he likes to play' (name that movie?)

7. Last night we had no bed dwellers…we have been having a few recently..but last night not one…no-one till 6.30am. Which is good.

8. does this look comfortable?

His name is…

Ben5th

only took a couple of goes with me using my knees as a tripod so still a bit of camera shake. But getting the tripod up and sorted when there are four over excited kids around can seem a bit of a faff. So i lent hard against the door frame and used my bent knees to support my elbows…

Isaac ( i think he was attempting his name!)

November…

Must try harder to update more often…i feel bad. I love my blog, i think of it so often with all sorts of 'oh that would be a good idea to write about' and as with so many things it never materialises past the 'thought' stage and into the 'action' stage. *sigh* i think there are people who make lots of money out of helping people nudge through the 'thought' stage and onwards….i think in my case someone like that would probably be called 'a cleaner, housekeeper, cook..etc..'

Anyways ..isaac in a luminous green tree..lol..thanks to lightroom…

We see this face quite often round these parts *sigh*

you might notice a faint watermark on the pictures, im just practicing at the moment. Im hoping to start a little photography, mainly portraits etc in the new year and am just playing with the pics in lightroom at the moment but mostly im doing it because i keep getting a lot of referrals from google images, people searching for pictures of babies, kids etc and ending up here. Which if you think about it too much can be very creepy *shudder* but i dont, so im protecting my pictures and also my family is the way im looking at it. I have so much more to say but i am relocating to a horizontal position and shall be examining by eyelids for hopefully 7 ish hours. Wish me luck.
