and you know i started to think…'ooooohhhh…pritty….and of course very useful and er…smooth…..

2. Poppy had the 'bear' this week and no that isn't a statement about her behaviour or attitude..its a little teddy bear that gets sent on his 'adventures' from school to pupil's home and there is a jolly little book to fill in…..im not crazy about this idea, its just homework for parents and lets face it 'who needs that!" bah humbug1

Jemimah, you can see, not impressed….

3. Its TV season for me. I don't watch a lot of TV and then two of my favourite shows come along at the same time. Strictly and the apprentice…thank goodness for tv catch up eh?

4. this lovely wee thing…look at that face…hmmm..butter wouldn't melt? yeah..right…

Matilda03.11

her favourite phrases at the moment ….'ave it!' "mine!" "I like' "me, me, me!"…'Poppeeeee!' all fairly demanding phrases…..and a recent addition of 'on it!"..

5. We found some wild horses while visiting mum and dad, the girls and Ben were fearless and marched right up to them..i was a little more cautious…which is ironic..but you know one of those dudes had his ears flat back…

6. We have discovered that firework night doesnt really agree with Matilda. She was not impressed by the noises but seemed happy to watch a few 'pritty' colours in the sky from the bedroom window.

7. Dear Santa..id like something like this please…

what? there is no Santa?…..

8. I went and made our wee girl official last week. Left it a bit close to the cut off time. The guy on the phone when i was getting the appointment made quite a thing about pointing out to me that they had to be less than 42 days..to which i said 'well she is!' and obviously ticked him off because he put me on hold for a year listening to the most awful music. Ah well there it is our last contribution the the citizenship of this country.

Register

i took this just after we left the registrars office, in a bit of a hurry as you can tell by the fact that the car behind us is in better focus than me 🙂

9. More beautiful autumn colours..what you cant see is the teeming rain in this picture.

10. Maisie had a 'dress as a toy' day at school, she wanted to go as jessie from toy story but we settled on this…

Maisietoydayjpg
authentic belly dancing outfit from Turkey…not exactly a toy but i reckon there is probably one of those cultural dollies somewhere in an outfit like this..well thats what we told Maisie anyway. Check out the hands on hips…thats new.

I think she was pretty happy she went in that outfit in the end, there were loads of kids in cowboy/girl outfits and i think she appreciated being a bit different. She made a good noise too!

Wow, where do you find wild horses near Ashford? And that dude is asleep! Thats why his ears are half cocked….. You NEED horses back in your life, ‘cos its not busy enough!!!!!!!!! Should probably have noticed more about horses body language before we decided just to ‘jump on board’ to break them in! Ahh the good old days xxxx
