🙂

she was actually posting a penny down the gaps in the radiator and onto the floor…

until it got stuck….

and there it will stay

Amen.

ten on tuesday….

1. Twitter..you get that? im trying to but i have myself so confused with how to actually reply to anything? all these RT symbols and people's names, im not sure what they have said and what they haven't said or a re re tweeting…is a muddle to me at the moment. But hoping to make sense of it .

2. little miss "i got tails' today.

Matildatailsweb
i have to laugh at how uneven they look. Isaac said to me on the way to school 'i don't really like Matilda's hair mummy, it makes her look silly'

3. Spring is coming but we are thinking snow…..

4. sssssshhhh..but the vomiting seems to be limited at the moment…but there is still time…..

5. Did I ever tell you that i got abuse from a jogger who was just behind me (as was Maisie)  on the way to school and she stopped to help Maisie when she was having trouble with her bike….once i had gone back to Maisie and thanked her. She ran off and shouted over her shoulder 'don't worry about saying thanks or anything!" the kids and i were shocked…not only had i actually said thanks but jogger lady had her headphones in and music on so thinking…maybe wouldn't have heard anyway…must remember to shout next time 🙂

6. We are a biking family, Ben rides to school every day, the kids often take their bikes so its getting very apparent that Poppy as a very confident 5 year old bike rider on what is essentially a toddler bike without stabilisers is not going to cut the mustard. She is one peddlin' fool on the way to school now bless her.

7. I have applied for my job…yes the one that i already have…. *sigh*

8. I have started reading a book a friend gave me to read…yes read…as in eyes open and scanning words whilst still actually conscious….its amazing!

that is, the staying awake bit, not the book, although its pretty good  :)

9. I ordered something from Amazon, it didn't show, i waited some more, it didn't show, i emailed them, they replied, it didn't show. I got fed up and ordered it less than 48 hours ago from Kiddicare, it was here today!

10. Isaac got his 100metres swim badge today. He said to me 'Mummy I had to swim f-o-u-r lengths of the pool!!'

and here endeth my list of not interesting at all facts…and, in fact, it is not tuesday either…

pfftttt….

dear tummy bug…

lets face it, we have never been friends. I take particular dislike to you in a way others don't.

You have a habit of turning up at my house at quite frankly inconvenient times, like um…when i was pregnant…last trimester…every.single.time.  Nothing like a baby jumping around on your belly when tummy bug is in situ…if you know what i mean?

I thought we had our relationship with each other worked out, knew where we stood, you over there..me over here…then you crossed the line.

Six months old and dealing with a nasty tummy bug is no fun. No…fun.

When you can't sit up, you can't give warning, you don't even know why the milk you so desperately want is up the walls, carpet and floor. Its just mean.

Tummy bug.. you and I have fallen out….

again.

ten on tuesday….

and it is actually tuesday and it is only 10pm so there is a strong chance that this might actually get posted on tuesday to….

1. Today i have been one forgetful, forgetting fool. I managed to forget a pick up from the milkbank people, my wallet, leaving the car boot open when parked up outside the house and forgetting to pay someone….yeah i ended the day thinking i was lucky that i hadn't left a child somewhere.

2. Maisie did her grade 1 modern exam on saturday, seemed to go well. She is worried that she might have made one mistake…..i say when you are 6 and doing 'exams' one mistake is pretty good going.

3. The sun shone today…like properly warm and hot….okay, sorta hot. We went to feed the ducks, who were quite frankly pretty uninterested in the bread. Then to the climbing frame *shudder*

Matildaplaygroundweb
she had a bit of a spaced out look going on today too 🙂

4. 2, nearly 3 of my kids are now completely beyond me in the 'playing of musical instruments' category. Maisie is now ramping up the treble and bass clef music for the piano and Isaac is doing great with the drums and now guitar. Im thinking british version of 'the corrs'…and we already have an extra backing singer…heh heh.

5. i discovered this very very cute picture when i was deciding which photo to punt for on canvas. thanks to a groupon voucher we are only paying delivery costs.  this is Jemimah at about 6 days old.

 7. Nothing will take the sun out of your day like the words 'redeployment, redundancy and 'at risk' on a letter from your workplace. I give you the world of high tech, specialist neonatal intensive care, ladies and gentlemen.

8. The girls had no swim lesson this week due to a 'vomitinpool' incident. ICK…so we had to wash their hair at home. Something we don't often do actually, usually its an after swimming chore. Poppy hates having her her down. She likes it off the back of her neck and in a pony or plaits, she has such incredible hair, its such an amazing colour…so grabbed a few photos of it..you can see how impressed she was..

9. The moon did a thing the other night, i first heard about it when all the pictures were popping up on facebook. Passed. me. by.

10. Poppy asked me on the way to school this morning 'Mummy do fish sleep?' ……right out of the blue, where in the heck her thoughts were taking her who only knows?
