Come and over and share your stories.

This week is my first week of hosting the Love Pregnancy blogs area at Loveallblogs. It would be so great if you have any stories on your blog or are writing any about your pregnancy, labour, baby days etc that you head on over and share them on the link at loveallblogs. Its such a great resource and so fab that you can easily search by topic and maybe come across a new favourite blog. That would be cool.

Its not been ages since i was pregnant (my youngest is just 16 months) but i can remember each of my 5 fairly clearly. What women doesn't remember the time when she was carrying her child? You can an 80 year old grandmother about her pregnancy and delivery and she will still be able to tell you with cut glass clarity. For so many of us it is a defining moment in our lives. We were part of a miracle as well as becoming a new person.

Mama.

So come and join in. do.

Had to share this….

never mind that its really clever and a great song. But those dudes looks scary, especially the guy in the middle who sings the chorus.  Really would you break his heart?! Man, he looks ticked off, you might find yourself sinking to the bottom of a lake if you upset him. Then of course there is the beanie wearing mean head on the side. *shiver*

Love the song though

Dear So and So...

Dear Uni students,

why is it when you get off a bus you look at the floor!? i don't get it. You are moving from a vehicle that is on the road to a pavement where pedestrians are walking at different speeds and in varied directions. Surely looking up might prevent the falling over small children, buggies, old people that seems to happen a lot for you guys? #justsaying

Dear littlest child of mine,

Why is it you are training to join a circus? you latest trick? launching yourself from a chair onto the dining table. Is your career plans to be the youngest member of cirque du soleil?

Dear Levi jeans,

Not impressed that my decision to buy expensive jeans this time to try and get longer out of my jeans before the knees split has totally back fired. Less than 6 months old and starting to fray.. Dude, im not sliding up and down a stage like a some crazed rocker. Im thinking my usage is fairly average. Not good enough.

disappointed, Sx

#thegallery..

no crazy skiing outfits this week although i am staying in the mountains. Its landscapes this week and i love landscapes. i dont know that im the best at capturing them on camera but I love that feeling of space. Looking out on an open vista. It doesn't have to necessarily be mountains. I remember years ago being on a train going through the prairies of Saskatchewan in Canada. Although it is so flat there just the feeling of infinity, miles and miles of earth sweeping away from under you off as far as you can see. No end. Space.

This shot was taken from the top station of the resort we were staying in. Looking down the valley. I think i took this on the extra day skiing we had when a certain Icelandic cloud put a stop to all movement round Europe and everything was still for a while. The bright snow reflecting the warm sun on to our faces and that amazing feeling you get when you marvel at how small you are and just how incredible the world around us is. One of my other favourite things about being here?

If you listen you can hear it.
