1. Maisie started ballet class last saturday. She has been waiting to do this for about a year and she was so excited. We all went to watch, the only chance we get, after the first week spectators are not allowed!! Pictures next week when she has the full get up, i promise!
2. Isaac has got this first taste of the joys of not being a reception kiddy. He got a full sheet of homework last weekend, which put him in such a wonderful mood!! I have spoken to his teacher about it because we were a bit surprised at the volume of homework and the time it required. We feel that weekend is family time, and that is our priority and that the kids work really hard at school five days a week and for two days at the weekend they are kids, we are family and we do our best to enjoy that. Isaac's teacher totally agreed with me and said that we should do what we can. She said a few really lovely things about Isaac too, which was nice.
3 Poppy is very nearly potty trained. She is fairly reliable with the wee wees and getting there slowly with the number 2s. She is doing really well. We dont need nappies anymore!! hooray! well for a bit anyway.
4. Working with little tiny babies is good and fulfilling, except when its not and you get let down by not very competent people who have a scary amount of responsibility.
5. We are thinking of just sending most of our salary direct to Tesco at the start of the month!! Oy!
6. When milk leaks in your car you need to deal with it. Otherwise it gets really really nasty!!!
7. Heard on the radio this morning that it has been 7 years since 9/11. That doesn't even seem possible. I wonder really what lessons have been learnt since then? But regardless, innocent people died then and have died since and my thoughts are with the people left behind.
