remember this:
okay so who jumped up and down at a school disco to this? C'mon you can admit it, we are all friends here?…great thing about this song tho, no dance ability required. It literally tells you to jump up and down in your 10 hole DM's….
Yes…yes..they have already been in fashion kids….
Until i searched this song on youtube i had know idea the name of the band, what the lead singer looked like but that tune is engraved on my memory forever…
love it!

that meant i couldn't upload some movies from my 5d to the 'puter. Thats now fixed, which is a relief, although fixing it nearly gave me heart failure when the iphoto library blinked at me with exactly zero images in it………
anyhow it was resolved by my super techy minded husband and i breathed out again.
But i am now able to share this little clip from our skiing holiday, which seems like a long time ago now! This was probably the afternoon of the day that i helped rescue a 71 year old british guy who had taken a bit of a tumble, dislocated his shoulder and torn a large chunk of his face with his sunnies…
what?
i didn't mention it before?
;))

Anyone who doesn't do twitter or fb won't have seen these pictures…anyone else just pass on by..nothing to see..(well that you haven't seen already)
Some iPhone pictures from this week using instagram app for the filters. Ah what was life like before iPhones? yeah I know, quieter, more social, less isolating…but you know if you can't beat them..and I never really wanted to anyhow..
Hey remember when text messages were so cutting edge!?
:))
the long and slooooow walk home with a 2 year old.
isaac relenting and playing something else other than Mario on the Wii. A bit of Wii dance.
Maisie playing school with Matilda. I think Matilda was just interested 'cos she got to play with felt tips. Contraband to her.
wow..those are gorgeous kids….
more 'on the way back from school' antics. You can see why it takes me so long right? As someone pointed out to me on facebook, sucking the receiver of a public telephone is probably not the most hygienic thing to do…but on the positive side will give her immunity a bit of a boost no doubt. When did a phone call cost 60p btw?! Remember when you always knew if you had 10p in your pocket you would be able to phone home. Not so now it would seem……
yeah i do seem to be lamenting the past…got to be something to do with that big number ahead of me in two weeks time!

Last Sunday, isaac's buddy came over for a few hours in the afternoon, Maisie was at a friends house and so Poppy and I cycled to the local park, fed the ducks, climbed the climbing frame and came home. It was short but it was really so good. It put a great big smiley face in the box next to the question 'quality time with your kids'
And it helps you to remember what you actually 'love' about that individual child. Poppy has changed a lot recently. Her pre school year was hard on us both and she was cross a lot. But school has been so incredible for her, giving her independence and also stimulating her very bright little mind.
It was pretty awesome hanging out with her and oh.my.goodness…how easy?! 5 kids down to one is going to feel like a vacation right?
She was made up and had a go at cycling on the roads instead of pavement. So very grown up! She got a lot of mileage out of telling her brother and sister what a great time she had! Gotta love sibling relationships!
