No, dont worry i have not taken to watching this show. But today the, im sure very nice, people from this show had made the decision to film some of their show at our local park. So we battled our way through their catering vans, gazebos and tried not to trip over all the cables running from various vans.

Are you sensing that i wasn’t happy about this? Well, not really, im not actually that bothered but it was when they told us to stay over to a certain bit of the playground and not make any noise that it bothered me.

well, excuse me, this is a council park, you are monopolising an entire swings/slides/climbing frame area and at kind of peak time?? Well we just hoped the council were getting a lot of money for the hassle.

Yes..and maybe.. they could spend it on some more swings….

Anyway this is one of the reason why our little boy is passing out as soon as his head hits his thomas the tank engine pillow….boy, does he live life with energy at the moment

and another layout that i finished off last night, the title isnt how i wanted it but i dont have any other suitable alphabets to use….*sigh* i need more scrapbook supplies..i know, i know…the same ‘ole same ‘ole

and it certainly has been that today….hot hot hot. About 32degrees C, not even sure what that is in Fahrenheit, about 90ish…

We all suffered last night because of the heat, dilemma you see, have windows shut and totally overheat or have windows open and listen to drunk or otherwise people kicking wheelie bins or just being very loud at 3am. MMMM…..we went for the window open option:)

so anyway bananas..i know, random but like i said its hot…bear with me:)

Maisie and I have a constant stand off about lunch time, she perfers not to eat what i make and i prefer to not give her yoghurt coated raisins until she becomes one and goes to live in a box. Anyway today i found myself wondering yet again if i would be throwing away the sarny i was thinking of doing when i remembered that she had asked for a banana in the car……

so, cashing in my chips i went for banana sandwiches…..nothing wrong with that really except that
1. she didnt touch them
2. I have NEVER understood why fruit, more specifically banana, should be placed anywhere near bread.

Bananas or any kind of soft fruit shouldnt be in a dependent relationship with bread. Its just not right. Plus bananas turn to brown mush very quickly once opened and mashed in a bit of bread and then it just looks like a dirty muddy sandwich…!!

So…we wont be going there again and maybe ill try something else tomorrow……

Anyway other things…i did some more scrapping and thought id load this one up…..the journaling in the corner is squiffy and also a bit blurred..not sure what happened with the scanner, maybe the heat is getting to it too:)

so no, i havent disappeared from the earth, much as i’d like to sometimes, its been a weird couple of days, good and weird if you know what i mean.
But i was starting to feel a few withdrawal symptoms from my blog. But it has been one of those whirlwind weekends and now i find the time, as in when i should be in bed…hahahahaha…

soooo, sunday..cool thing happened. I sat in church….yes i know doesnt sound that incredible, something i do every week. But the emphasis should be on sat. You see i had Isaac in sparklers 🙂
Maisie in big girl creche and Poppy a first timer in little girl creche. So that leaves a mummy able to sit in big person church without having to worry about little people….most excellent…….

And something else our little popsicle is doing now, an excuse to stick in a photo of our little girlie, is sit up. She is getting a bit good at it but does take the inevitable nose dive for the floor.

The other thing i did over the weekend was get stuck into a few layouts, one i was doing for a challenge on a 2peas. I got involved with it because i thought that it looked a bit different from what i would usually do and i can safely say that yes it was..but i enjoyed it…..

I have come to the conclusion though that i need…no i mean really need…more scrapbook stuff, So today, my day when we are just two in the james house. I spent sifting through stuff to sell on ebay to get some more STUFF……i was walking round the house thinking ‘mmmm..could i sell that??’

Yes im starting to get concerned to, hopefully it wont progress to me holding up the local co-op to fund my habit!!!

Well better dash, we have some computer juggling to do. Getting ready to send our lovely powerbook on its jollies to the nice people at applemac and get reaquainted with the ‘bit more chunky’ ibook.
