feels so very much like saturday today…..

Maisie had a practice lesson for her soon-to-be-taken modern exam. Whats modern? no idea….but they have to have all different stuff to ballet for it…

Anyway she usually does this on a saturday, hence my confusion all day. 

Jemimah has evicted herself from her Amby nature nest…she was showing signs of not loving it and we made the decision to put her in a cot…this is quite a big deal as the nest is a whole heck of a lot smaller than a cot..and as she is still in our room has some serious space implications for us. She has recently started rolling over and i think just doesnt like the restrictive nature of the nest…

probably just me who chuckled at that then….

I didnt think it would make any difference really but she went to sleep quietly and without fuss for the past two nights which has not been the norm lately. Matilda slept in the nature nest till she was a year and loved it, used to make it bounce to set her off to sleep when she was bigger and we used it solely for our travelling with her as well. 

i guess kids are just individuals huh? who knew! 😉

I felt a bit sad putting the nest away..which is weird actually because i haven't really felt any whistfull 'this is my last time' feelings…too busy keeping my nose just above the water!

anyway speaking of Matilda…

 

this is her doing a spot of modelling for me on Tuesday…with of course…

a grubby face….

and hair which may or may not have seen a hairbrush….um….

recently….

but i did edit out the gnarly bruise and scab she now has on her chin as a result of slicing it open on the roundabout….

did i mention i don't like play parks and toddlers? (that would be when they are combined together and not individually…)

obviously 🙂
