… Ben was trying to work out just how many times we have been here in the last 7 years…. We might just be hitting double figures….I'm just a little pre occupied fighting the will to curl up and sleep on this 1950's station bench…

i know its not tuesday but….um…..meh ;p

1. Isaac is doing a football camp this week…and of course that = rain…..and wet football kits, boots and socks……and incidentally we took him to get some football boots and discovered that his feet are quite happy now in a size 2! Excuse me? um…..what happened? did i miss the growth spurt?…..he was pretty chuffed when i told him his feet are only 4 sizes off my own!

2. We have found the following things down the toilet in our house…a pencil (accompanied with nice scribbles on the seat), a few toilet rolls, the contents of the waste bin and a dora toy……..

3. Poppy and Maisie were supposed to be doing two day swim/dance camp thing…but we arrived all ready for the off on tuesday to be told that they had made a mistake and couldn't take 4 year olds….um…great…that went down oh so very well with our 4 year old as you can imagine!

4. We are looking forward to seeing Toy Story 3. Poppy saw it with her nursery on the last week of term, all we can get out of her was that 'there was a bear…'

5. Sardines in a tin probably describes our packing scenario for our forthcoming jollies…..

6. Ben took us to a local weir in Chester on our way to get some roof bars…see above point….he said that he used to come and canoe here every week (back in the days when he worked with kids who really needed outdoor pursuits)

and um..this isn't one of those kids….obviously….

Poppy has had spanish lessons at pre school and here she is at her leaving service singing a spanish song. Her teacher, aptly named 'spanish Anna' was busy waving directions at them off the stage. We have loved her being exposed to spanish….
even if, most of the time we don't know what she is talking about

What we did for a bit of Sunday afternoon going up and down a local park while ben put up the tent as a trial run……

nearly an hours entertainment on the enormous airbed that we got with our tent that we got from ebay….i dont think i've ever seen an airbed as high…wondering how long before the inevitable flat……
