you know it has actually been warm enough for this….
and this;
but of course, you wouldnt believe it!! and i hate it that i have totally tripped into stereotype and am moaning about the weather. I dont really have a problem with it either way, the cold, the hot but i do wish the weather would choose something and stick with it. It lulls you into a false sense of security and you chuck away the thermals only to be searching for them about a week later. Tonight, i hate to admit, i put the heating on…….(sharp intake of breath)…but i was heading upstairs to put on my second pullover and i thought…'this is madness!!'
And can i just say how happy i am that it is nearly half term!! YAY!! I am more excited about it than Isaac. yesterday i said to him 'guess what isaac, only three more days of school!..how cool is that!' only to be met with a rather frustrated 'i knnnoow!'
Although a week just doesnt seem long enough….some schools round here have got two weeks off and i am a little green with envy. It does mean though that we are ever closer to the summer holidays and our family holiday to France (rhyme that with PANTS if you want to fit in up here!!lol)
Anyway those pics were taken when our soon-to-be new lodger popped round for a bit of sunday lunch and i dont think it put her off, even when the kids discovered the water had made a bit of the lawn muddy and where jumping in it!!!
“We only live once, and if we do it well, once is enough’
dont you just love that.
😉
so what do you think she is thinking??? LOL
