what d’you think?

saturday mornings we go swimming. Isaac and Maisie both have swimming lessons in the week and Poppy has to sit and watch. So when we can we bundle the kids in the car early on a saturday mornings and take them to the pool, where they swim and we paddle around in ankle deep water. such fun!! I love the fact that the kids are confident in the water. Isaac is a good swimmer now, we had two people comment on saturday how good he is….must mean he is learning something i suppose!!

We take advantage of the fact that council pools here have a free swim before 9am, but it does mean hustling out of the house very quickly at the weekend….but hey, they love it so its worth it.

Poppy went to her first birthday party on saturday in her own right. She has been to lots with her siblings over the years, starting off as nothing but a babe in the car seat in the corner. She got an invite to her friend Willa’s party and I practically had to sneak her out of the house so the others didn’t get wind of it…

Initially she was a bit wary, she is so used to Maisie being around all the time, but she got into the swing of it and it was nice to have some time with just her.

that should be x2. I did two nights this week and it totally wiped me out. I usually do one a week which i can just about handle. I have adjusted to staying up for 36 hours once a week but twice….sheesh…

I remember why i hated doing two nights when i went back to work after Isaac was born. I dont like it, i go around for a couple of days thinking…’man, why am i so tired?’ and then i remember…..

that will be the 72 hours of consistent awakeness!!!

so anyways….we, well me, is liking the new camera, its so tiny it fits in my pocket. Only problem is it does something to the mac when it is loading the photos, something odd, ben said…..but some very cute pics nevertheless.
