Those beach pics where taken on the same beach that i used to play on endlessly as a kid. Such a funny beach, a typical british pebbly beach but with the odd cross-channel swimmer doing practice widths of the port. Big old ferry boats in the background where pretty much all of us had jobs in the summer. HA! such memories 😉

Speaking of jobs, Joel, who is the young man in that last picture, lady friend is working for the playscheme run by the local council for kids to hang out at though the summer. I mentioned that I did that for three years when i was in my teens, ‘ah yes..i said..but that was along time ago, i think i did it in 87,88,89…..

although..not me…well…a bit…..and i spent my entire time hoping and praying that i wasnt going to end up in the water!! i have mentioned my thing about getting wet..right?

Isaac was a little brave body and set of with Ben and my dad which enabled me to play with the new camera (not food mel!!! heehee)and assorted lenses.

we have been staying at my brother’s house for a few days and i found this on one of their shelves…..

and my immediate thought….’boy that took me a long time’
but looking back through it i did also remember the satisfaction and sense of achievement. I made four other similar ones for family members last year…not sure if i will do it again this year…..

we first took isaac to the national railway museam when he was just over 2 years old, we have been back every year since and this year he was really specific on what he wanted to see…

and until we had seen them all he was not a happy bunny…he is one focused little boy.

and to shock us all we have not seen a spot of rain all day, its been glorious, dare i say…even hot….

shhh..it might just be the start of summer..
