hiya, thanks for all your cards, texts and best wishes yesterday, really appreciate it.
I had a really nice day yesterday. me and Poppy dop headed off into liverpool for the morning and ended up staying there for HOURS…no seriously, got the very expensive car parking ticket to prove it….a few of the cool things that happened yesterday…

1. I turned 35…which is cool..see lower post.

2. I got a very cool present from Ben…we are going to see Billy Joel in concert at the MEN in July. OMGoodness I cannot wait to hear him sing Piano Man. In all honesty it is something I have wanted to do for years and am really looking forward to it. YAY!!!!

3. I met the dad of some twins I looked after years ago in NICU, they are now 4 and just about to start school. He works in Starbucks and recognised me and came over to say hi, showed photos of his boys. It just made me think …..’that is why I love my job’ Got very smiley feeling inside.

4. I realised that I am really really, no really enjoying this maternity leave with my lovely handful of kidlets. So as much in previous point i said i love my job, not in a great hurry to get back there….lol

5.Got the funkiest little book bag from borders.

Not really sure of its usefulness for me. The smallest bag I tend to carry is about 6 times its size but its cute and its my birthday so what the hey…..

6. Lastly, Poppy got some really lovely attention in town today from different people and she was such a poppet, smiles abound from that kid and I am just thankful, once again, for the sunny little thing she is.

Well thats about it for tonight. its still light out and ive finished my blog..must be a miracle…
