Exploring the outside in a macro way with #CountryKids

We went away this weekend to be part of the team of bloggers who are working with the national trust to encourage our kids to get outside and enjoy their childhood OUTSIDE!! You know away from the consoles, the TV screens and the computers and instant messengers and be in nature. It was a really inspiring weekend and we came back fuelled with ideas. I am going to do a longer post on motivational monday on what we got up to. But meantime you can check out the website hereΒ and check out their pledge and hey maybe sign yourself up!

So before we came back north we took the kids out in nature to see what we could find. It was fun, especially a certain little girl jumping in some mahoosive puddles!! I had my lovely macro lens on the camera so it was an up, close and personal look at the outside!

I love your outdoor close up shots, they make me want to invest in a good camera and stop the fuzz on my action shots. I have also signed up to project wild thing, I am thrilled the National Trust are championing the same cause as me, they will really make a difference. Hope you will linlk your post from the day too. Did you meet Chelsea Mamma and The Boy and Me there too?

Beautiful photos! We love getting up close too! I’m definitely onboard with getting my wee man out and about as much as is often. We have some lovely country parks around us which makes it a bit easier.

Such a good idea, Matilda is now at an age where we can start to explore things a bit more. Her favourite thing at the moment is walking up the road from our new house to see the chickens and sheep πŸ™‚
One of the reasons we bought this house was precisely so they could have a childhood like ours climbing trees and building dams in streams.
