a stinking tummy bug….

yep. not kidding either…..spent most of the early hours of christmas day in the vacinity of the bathroom..if you know what i mean….yuk..

so the second year in a row that i have not had the chance to enjoy christmas dinner, which is my favourite dinner of all. hmpf.. i managed a few bits of turkey and then fell asleep on our bed at 730 after putting the kids to bed.

we had a lovely christmas eve though, before the sickness set in, the cathedral for caroles was lovely and you might notice some extras in the nativity scene..lol

we all had a go at the gingerbread house, which went down a storm and obviously hyped the kids up….

Got some fantastic news today, a dear friend of mine had her third baby this morning. Congratulations to them and guys, can’t wait to come and see you.

Our own christmas baby is turning 2 in a few days time…..how in the heck eh?

well it has been very wintery here for the past couple of days, yesterday we took the kids to the forest and had a little walk, a little playing in the woods and some jumping in icy puddles and listening to them crack. Lovely time. Today its raining here..bleh..hoping it picks up for tomorrow. The kids are so excited now…thinking we will have an early start tomorrow.

On tuesday we were driving home and i said to isaac

‘guess what buddy last day of school tomorrow!!’

he said..

‘im a little bit sad about that?’

‘why?’ said i

‘Because i like school now’

That is almost the best christmas present i could get…..

and even if you are not….

spare a thought and a prayer for a friend of mine who was rushed to hospital today after collapsing with a brain tumour.

He has a two week old baby boy. I spoke to him yesterday in church and he seemed happy and fine…..

still so shocked.
