going to school…

or should i say ‘back to school’

In the mayhem of monday morning, I had my first day back at university. The university where i did my pre-reg nursing and now i am back there again….which is an odd feeling.

I didnt really listen to much, have to say, was thinking lots about my boy and how he was doing. But one thing struck me..the smell of the place….strange i know, but i walked into the stairwell (‘cos surprise surprise the lift wasnt working!!) and i stopped and thought….’eeewww..it smells the same’

So YAY I am a student again!!! So time to try and engage the old grey matter…i know its in there somewhere…

Not the smoothest of transitions….

the girls are watching cinderalla (thinking they might appreciate the absence of their train obsessed brother!)…

and im trying to figure out if i have the strength to do it all again tomorrow….

*sigh*

Okay..so the only near accurate one is Isaac, think it might have been to do with the sketchy photos i used. heehee..but i kinda like it.

today was an upHill kind of day, the car was being serviced so we where on our feet today. Isaac trod in some dog poo in the park YAY!!! and after having cleaned it off him and the pedals of his bike…..we had cheese on toast in a little greasy spoon and then walked back to the house, after watching the local school kids play out at lunchtime….then the girls found the glitter….oh yes they did…

and once they were all in bed, i had to go and bounce on the trampoline..i mean REALLY bounce to get me some adrenaline up so that i could actually tidy it all up….even though its no good for the old pelvic floor, if you know what i mean ladies 😉

a conversation..

Isaac ‘Mummy can i go to Japan?’

Me: ‘er…yes i guess you could do one day’

Isaac: ‘Where is japan mummy?’

Me: ‘Its….er….um…somwhere near Australia i think?”

its about now that i start wishing i listened a bit more in school…..
