how did it get to be two weeks before christmas?

we have got our tree up….

yep and the two youngest members of our family delight in bouncing the baubles across the floor and seeing who can strip the lower branches the quickest…..*sigh*

Isaac did this when he was about 15 months and we just left it in the end. Im thinking with the two man assault on the tree it doesnt stand a chance….oh well.

Isaac is in his first ever nativity this week, he is a star. I think there is more than one…maybe in case the wise men get lost 😉 The nursery staff today were all raving about Isaac’s singing. I hope he doesnt freeze on wednesday in front of all the mums and dads. Apparently they are recording the dress rehersal tomorrow..good idea 😉

No news as yet on Scrapbooker of the year….i have no nails left…..

We had a photoshoot with a friend of ours a couple of weeks back and i cant really share lots of the pics but this one was one of the amusing ones…

and a layout i did, i have changed this since i posted it to 2 peas ‘cos there was something that just didnt work for me on it. But i kinda like it now, although still not 100%…

Anyway what a week, crazy but good…..and all the time, back of my mind…will i win? will i get in the top ten? are they going to phone on the 11th? are they going to phone at all?

just because the excitement is getting too much for me…how oh how am i going to make it till 11th December???? that is the official end of voting but it could be quite a while till they let us finalists know….

so just because i went to Costco to get a very cute baby doll present for Maisie this morning, I also noticed that they had some of those heidi swapp embellie collections..see thus…

and i just couldnt help myself…but what i thought is that i could give some of it away in a RAK….I have been so touched by everyone supporting me that i just wanted to do something groovy and nice and doesnt that just define the lovely Heidi Swapp stuff?

So anyone up for that? Definately include one of the alphabets, there is a chipboard and ghost one and lots of those cute embellies, tapes and ribbons and jewels. Anyways if you fancy a bit of the very cute heidi swapp leave me a comment and ill draw a name in a a couple of days or maybe even a a week..dunno..we will see how it goes 😉

I am in the final 20 of the scrapbooker of the year competition run by The scrapbook magazine here in the UK.

I have yet to see the magazine but its on their website, my name….WOW..got to stop the rush of fame going to my head …heehee…

Anyway as they are not showing the layouts on the website, here is mine:
